![[ ]](http://i55.photobucket.com/albums/g139/cjenkins1990/Ferus%20Felidae/OLDTOPIC-2.jpg) | Intabade Bordered by the sea and the river, the Intabade mountain range offers an unparalleled view of the surrounding area. A sparse forest dots the lower end, but the landscape transforms into rock and snow closer to the mountaintops. In such an area, even well-worn paths can be rugged and dangerous, especially during winter.

![[ ]](http://i55.photobucket.com/albums/g139/cjenkins1990/Ferus%20Felidae/OLDTOPIC-2.jpg) | Umuthi A great forest hosting a wide range of animals, it offers good hunting for those who can traverse the thick brush. Solitary hunters and groups do well in this expansive area. The trees grow thick and tall within the center before gradually thinning out along the edges. Who knows what secrets await the curious traveler?

![[ ]](http://i55.photobucket.com/albums/g139/cjenkins1990/Ferus%20Felidae/OLDTOPIC-2.jpg) | Upper Amanzi The upper half of the Amanzi river. The water runs fast and clear, rushing furiously over the rocky river bottom. Fed by meltwater from the Intabade mountains, this part of the Amanzi is cold and prone to floods in the spring.

![[ ]](http://i55.photobucket.com/albums/g139/cjenkins1990/Ferus%20Felidae/OLDTOPIC-2.jpg) | Bulashi Sparse brush and small trees dot the Bulashi scrublands. Bordered by the Umuthi, the great forest of the north, a decent amount of prey is often found here. With so many places for young cubs to hide, it is a prime place to raise a family.

![[ ]](http://i55.photobucket.com/albums/g139/cjenkins1990/Ferus%20Felidae/OLDTOPIC-2.jpg) | Muziona The broken ruins of a human settlement. Tall buildings and humble houses make up this area, many of them accessible through broken windows and fallen walls. Overgrown with weeds and other plants, it provides a wonderful home for those who can make do with small meals.

![[ ]](http://i55.photobucket.com/albums/g139/cjenkins1990/Ferus%20Felidae/OLDTOPIC-2.jpg) | Lower Amanzi The Amanzi river widens here, finally slowing in its rush down the mountains. Deeper than the upper half but far more predictable, it attracts creatures of all sizes. It reaches the end of its long course when it empties into the sea.

![[ ]](http://i55.photobucket.com/albums/g139/cjenkins1990/Ferus%20Felidae/OLDTOPIC-2.jpg) | Ize Wide, flat and scorching, only the hardiest of cats can survive in this desert. Prey is difficult to find, and water even harder. Little relief can be found from the sun, save for when night falls. Only during spring does rain fall on the parched ground.

![[ ]](http://i55.photobucket.com/albums/g139/cjenkins1990/Ferus%20Felidae/OLDTOPIC-2.jpg) | Julile A rocky canyon maze carved by an ancient river. Now reduced to a stream, it supports a small amount of prey and vegetation. Many enter here hoping to find relief from the sun, but the confusing trails have been the death of more than one poor soul.

![[ ]](http://i55.photobucket.com/albums/g139/cjenkins1990/Ferus%20Felidae/OLDTOPIC-2.jpg) | Pakama The Pakama plateau is a flat expanse of raised rock jutting up from the ground. Powerful winds buffet the slopes and top, making it quite difficult for trees to grow. However, plenty of short, dense grass grows atop the summit.

![[ ]](http://i55.photobucket.com/albums/g139/cjenkins1990/Ferus%20Felidae/OLDTOPIC-2.jpg) | Ichibi A massive lake acting as the last large source of water for those traveling to the south. It is nearly impossible to travel around the whole thing in one day. Lush grass and other vegetation surround it, providing plenty of places to hide for the crafty hunter--or frightened prey.

![[ ]](http://i55.photobucket.com/albums/g139/cjenkins1990/Ferus%20Felidae/OLDTOPIC-2.jpg) | Gumanna The large, rolling hills of Gumanna surround the Ichibi lake. Tall grass and short trees grow here, feeding off of the many rain showers. Although prey is usually around, there exists little protection from the elements. It is wise to avoid these hills during bad weather.

![[ ]](http://i55.photobucket.com/albums/g139/cjenkins1990/Ferus%20Felidae/OLDTOPIC-2.jpg) | Cabeza The Cabeza plains are a large expanse of grass taking up most of the western lands. Grazers gather here in great herds, sometimes living their whole lives in the area. Small waterholes are common, but fires are as well during dry summers.
